Maplewood Acres Farm welcomed the grade 7 students for an educational and fun filled morning learning about organic and sustainable farming techniques. Maplewood performed this service for our students free of charge. The program was amazing! Students were able to clean and sort carrots, learn about farm equipment, investigate local vegetation, differentiate seeds, distribute ladybugs as a natural pest control, and have a hay ride. What a great time! Thank you Ms Parker and Maplewood Acres for this opportunity!
