Osmosis - Crawling Water

A demonstration to emphasize the definition of osmosis. Osmosis is the diffusion of water across a membrane. In other words, osmosis is the movement of water from an area of high concentration to an area of low concentration over a barrier. This example shows how water is able to diffuse using through paper towel, the same principle applies to how a root will take water up from the soil after it rains.
